Rhianna Wright

Rhianna Pedal Harp From a young age, I studied piano, flute, and harp, and went on to study piano and harp in college. Graduating from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in harp performance, I have had the pleasure of playing in orchestras, concert bands, and solo concerts. My favorite performances have been with my sister, Verity Arndt, in concerts featuring my original arrangements of hymns and Celtic music. I have also enjoyed playing at numerous weddings and various events including open houses, benefit dinners, holiday bazaars, and one of my favorites, the 2019 Natural Cures Expo.

Hymns have a special place in my heart. They have provided comfort and encouragement for me in my darkest hours, and an expression of love and joy throughout my life. The connection I feel with God when I play or sing the hymns is amazing, and I can feel His touch as I'm working on my arrangements. In my arrangements, you'll hear a mix of celtic, folk, new age, and classical styles. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Be Thou My Vision
Rhianna Medieval Harp

When I was nine years old, my parents took me to a medieval banquet in Wales, where I saw and played the harp for the first time. It was a magical experience and I fell in love with medieval music and the harp. In 2015 I joined a historical organization known as The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and discovered a wonderful group of people that shared and encouraged my passion for researching and recreating the arts and skills of pre-17th century Europe. I have since then earned the privelege winning and hosting several bardic competitions, including the bardic championship of the Glymm Mere barony. It has been a thrilling adventure and I'm excited to see where it takes me!
